About us

The Woolgatherers Knitting Guild welcomes beginning through master knitters. Our monthly meeting typically includes an educational program, a brief business meeting, and show and share. The doors open at 6:30 pm for socialization and individual help with knitting and technology. The meeting begins at 7 pm, followed by the program, refreshments, and sharing. Many of our members knit for a number of local charities such as the Church of Christ, Salvation Army, homeless shelters, local hospitals, and Ypsilanti Family Services. Additional activities include the August Ice Cream Social, December Holiday potluck, an annual knitting retreat with a national presenter, and occasional one day workshops.
